Wabi Sabi Bird of Juno
About the Collection:
Traditionally in Japan, wabi-sabi is a world view based on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature. This is is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three truths about existence- impermanence, suffering and emptiness or absence of self-nature.
