Hand Tufted Monstera Deliciosa 5ft X 7ft Carpet

The Monstera Deliciosa is nicknamed as "The Swiss Cheese plant" because of the hole shapes in it's leaves. These plants stand out in any room and are very popular in home art, decor, upholstery and furnishings. Monstera means "monstrous", in reference to the size that this plant can grow to especially in tropical forests- over 9 m (30 ft) in many cases. Deliciosa refers to the Mexican breadfruit that they bear.

About Hand Tufted Rugs

Hand tufting is a traditional method, which requires a high level of craftsmanship. Our rugs are entirely made by hand: the yarn is hand dyed, tufted by hand with a small mechanical tool and finally sheared, using hand held scissors. No electricity is used.
