Hand Tufted Antique Bidzar Design Carpet
Bidjar is a town in Kurdistan, north-west Persia. The name "Bijdar" is also used to describe antique rugs that were produced in the many villages in the surrounding vicinity. These rugs mostly carry nature motifs predominated by continuous flower and vine designs. The colour palate for Bijdar rugs is rich and jewel toned making them highly desirable by designers.
